Numbers and Letters Numbers for your buildings often consist of a building letter and a three digit number. For instance, Building A space 123 woud be numbered as "A123". Building B space 467 would be "B467". The easiest approach for numbering your units is to start with your floor layout sheet and number the buildings. If buildings have second and third or more floors and the number of units is less than 100 per floor, designate each floor as a different 100 level. Thus if Building A has three floors of 50 units each, they would be numbered as: A101 through A150, A201 through A250, and A301 through A350. If floors have more than 100 units per floor, start with A1001 and so on. Application of numbers: You can either apply your vinyl numbers directly to the substrate of your building or the numbers can be pre-applied to another substrate which is then applied to your building or doors. We use 1/8" acrylic cut to size as this substrate. The acrylic sheets can then be applied to your building or doors by using an epoxy adhesive. The acrylic cut outs are precut to your specifications. Placing them is much more efficient than placing and adhering the many many vinyl numbers and letters and can be done by any contractor or even a staff member with a pre-measured stick guide. Cost Vinyl Number & Letters on Acrylic: Our Numbers and letters are priced by the unit at $.50 per letter for letters up to 2.75" tall. Thus, a unit with the designation of "A123" has 4 alphanumerics and cost $2.00 each. These numbers and letters come ready to apply on vinyl release paper. The vinyl is secured to the release paper with a clear adhesive release tape. You or your contractor apply the vinyl to the substrate, squeegee the vinyl down, then remove the clear release tape. Vinyl Number & Letters pre-applied to Acrylic: You may also purchase the vinyl numbers and letters pre-applied to an acrylic backing. Generally, we cut the acrylic to 3.5" tall by 9" long with square edges. We laser cut each acrylic rectangle and can custom cut the acrylic to any size or shape you want. Our basic shape of 3.5" x 9.0" is $10.00 each and we will apply your Vinyl numbers and letters to your acrylic substrate for $2.00. Final cost of each Vinyl Number & letters applied to an acrylic substrate is: $14.00 plus Ca sales tax, if applicable, and shipping.
